Welcome to our Joinery Workshops page at Welcome to the lions Den!. In our Bush Tuckering and Survival Training courses, we focus on teaching problem-solving skills, life skills, and risk assessment skills. Join us to train your brain to problem solve and assess risks, promoting self-esteem and confidence.  I have always felt it is my destiny to build a machine that would allow man to fly 'Leonardo da Vinci'.

 

Future project- Medieval Catapult.

Children  will learn how to build the Medieval caterpult, why learning medievel British History at the same time. Children will learn medieval survival skills such as cooking food in the woods and how to build a survival shelter.

Yes we will get a chance to fire the caterpult and yes children will gain valuble insight in to how Knights would live in them days.

Future project -Medieval battering Ram.

Children will learn how to build the Medieval Battering Ram. Children will learn the Unique  Medieval British history.

Children will lean how to survive in the cold and how to make the long bow.

Children will not only learn but experience what it was like back them to be in an English war.

 

The Lions Den! will make a door for the battering Ram to run at  so we can try it out. 

 

Learn Joinery Skills

Develop Problem-Solving Skills

Joinery requires risk asssment problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and create functional structures. By learning joinery in our courses, you will enhance your ability to think critically, analyze situations, and come up with creative solutions to complex problems.

 

 

 

 

On the right we make sticks to cook fish like the native Americans did to  survive. We make our own chairs to sit on using wood then learn about native American history.

we also learn about English joinery and there cooking methods in the iron and bronze age.

 

Everyone goes in a a group that are at there skill level.

 

Japanese Knowledge.

 

 

On the left we have a Japanese wall art. At the lion’s Den we will teach the children about Japanese history such as the samurai. we will also  teach them samurai survival skills and about samurai warriors.

On the left we have a samurai kneeling to the Japanese gate. These can sell for £200. The young person can learn how to make money through their skills as they grow.

The young person will also learn problem solving skills and Japanese Buddhism meditation and mindfulness.

 

 

 

Everyone goes in a a group that they can develope in. A group where everyone is at the same level.
